Overview
The Header Module is a premium feature made only available with the Olympus PRO plugin. To use this premium feature and enhance the Olympus theme, you must purchase the Olympus PRO plugin and have the theme previously installed and activated on the website.
Activation
By default, Olympus PRO has all modules disabled, requiring you that after installing and activating the Olympus PRO plugin, go to Appearance > Olympus and toggle to Enable Header Module.
After enabling the Header Module, either using Appearance > Customize, or going to the frontend of your website and clicking on the Admin Bar where it reads Customize, it will load the Customizer.
Once the Customizer loads, go to the Header panel and click to open. Once it opens, you will see new settings explained below.
Under the General section, you will see a Position setting where you can place your navigation before or after your logo. Logo and navigation alignment settings will appear.
Under the Social Icons section, you can add many social icons after your header navigation.
Note: To add your social media links, just click each social name, a dropdown with an URL input will appear.
Under the Mobile section, you can add a mobile header, very useful if you create a big desktop header and want a simple one for mobile screens.
How to add a search icon in the header?
Click the Header > General section of the customizer and activate the Add Search Icon setting, from there you will be able to display a search icon in your menu and to select the search source.
How to add a cart icon in the header?
First, WooCommerce needs to be activated on your site, then, click the Header > General section of the customizer and activate the Add Cart Icon setting, from there you will be able to display a cart icon in your menu and to display or hide the cart total and count.
